Ariad

Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of Ariad’s website and golf services. By using Ariad, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy describes how we handle your information. Contact support@ariad.golf with questions.

Your account

Provide accurate information, keep access to your account secure, and use Ariad only where you are legally permitted to do so. Do not impersonate others, access another person’s account, interfere with the service, scrape private data, or bypass access or payment controls.

Golf information and safety

Course maps, distances, shot detection, scores, and handicap estimates can contain errors or become outdated. Check conditions on the course, follow local rules, and use your judgment. Ariad does not replace official course guidance, tournament rulings, or an official handicap service. Do not use the app in a way that distracts you from safe play or driving.

Community standards

You retain ownership of content you submit and give Ariad permission to store, process, and display it as needed to provide the service and your chosen sharing features. Only upload content you have the right to share.

Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexually explicit content, exploitation, impersonation, spam, and unlawful content are prohibited. Do not post someone else’s private information without permission. We may filter or remove content and restrict or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Use the report action on a comment or golfer’s profile to flag abuse. You can block a golfer from their profile or a comment and manage your blocked list in the top-right menu of Me. For urgent moderation or other concerns, email support@ariad.golf.

Memberships and payments

Paid features, prices, billing periods, and any trial terms are shown before purchase. App Store purchases are charged to your Apple Account. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless you cancel before the renewal date under Apple’s displayed terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple’s subscription settings. Removing the app or deleting your Ariad account does not cancel a subscription.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple through Report a Problem, subject to Apple’s policies and applicable law. Restore purchases in the app when using the Apple Account that made the purchase. The iOS and watchOS apps are licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.

Availability and changes

We may improve or change features, correct errors, and perform maintenance. Beta and TestFlight versions may be incomplete or unreliable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or accuracy. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Leaving Ariad

You can stop using Ariad and request account deletion from Me → Edit profile → Manage account → Delete account. We may restrict access to address violations, security risks, or legal requirements. The privacy policy explains deletion and retention.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version; we will provide additional notice of material changes when appropriate.
